X57: Missing Engineers

Track down the missing engineers on X57 for the 'Bring Down the Sky' DLC in Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. Find G. Mendel, C. Hymes, and R. Montoya to complete the assignment.

Alright, so you've landed on X57 for the 'Bring Down the Sky' mission. Your main goal here is to find three missing engineers. Let's get them located!

G. Mendel

First up, hop in the Mako and drive uphill towards the southwest. You're looking for a shack labeled 'Survey Station 3'. Once you find it, you'll locate G. Mendel's body just outside, along with a Technician Kit. Search them to confirm his fate and update the assignment.

C. Hymes

Next, make your way to the southeastern corner of the map. Here you'll find 'Survey Station 1'. Outside this shack, there's a Secure Crate with 'Average' loot. Inside, you'll find an Aid Station and the body of C. Hymes. Sadly, he's another one who didn't make it. This assignment isn't shaping up to be a cheerful one.

R. Montoya

Now, head to the northwestern part of the map to find 'Survey Station 2'. Inside this shack, you'll find a Hardened Crate with 'Hard' loot and another Aid Station. Check the Station Logs here. R. Montoya was a bit more proactive than the others, but it doesn't end well for him. As soon as you finish with the logs, three Defense Drones will attack. Take them out – remember that Sabotage can temporarily disable them. After the fight, look for footprints just east of the shack. Follow them east in the Mako until you find R. Montoya's body.

Once you've found all three engineers, this assignment will be complete.
