Follow this Mass Effect: Legendary Edition (ME1) walkthrough to find the Alliance's Lost Module on Eletania, battle Geth, and discover a Paragon exploit.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Begin the assignment by accessing the Galaxy Map. Plot a course for the Attican Beta cluster, then the Hercules system. You will receive a transmission from the Alliance requesting assistance in locating a Lost Module.
  2. 2
Next, plot a course for the planet Eletania.
  3. 3
Once you land on Eletania, open your map. A marker for the Downed Recon Probe will appear to the northeast of your starting position. Drive to the probe's location.
  4. 4
Examine the wreckage of the probe. You will discover that a monkey-like creature has taken the module, and you must now search the nests on the planet.
  5. 5
If you intend to use the Paragon exploit, be careful not to kill any of the creatures, as doing so will result in Renegade +4.
  6. 6
To save time, head to the nest located in the northern part of the map, specifically the eastern of the two nests in that area. You will find an abandoned mine.
  7. 7
Enter the mine and proceed to the end. Search the eastern of the two tunnels to the east. The module will be with the monkey at the far end of this room.
  8. 8
Paragon Exploit: If you are going for the exploit, save your game immediately after acquiring the module. Reload the save, and interacting with the monkey again will grant +6 Paragon each time, allowing you to maximize your Paragon score.
  9. 9
Regardless of whether you used the exploit, return to the main room with the module. You will be attacked by Geth. Use the explosives in the area for cover and to defeat them.
  10. 10
Fight your way through the horde of Geth to exit the mine and return to your Mako.
Tips
  • If you are not concerned about the Paragon exploit, you can search any of the nests. However, the mine in the north-east is the most direct route to the module.
  • Be prepared for combat after retrieving the module, as Geth will ambush you inside the mine.
  • Utilize cover effectively during the Geth encounter within the mine.
  • Module retrieved
  • Paragon/Renegade points
