The Fourth Estate

Once you have become a Spectre (after completing any main mission and leaving the Citadel), return to the Citadel.

Take the Elevator in the Docking Bay up to C-Sec.

As you exit the elevator, approach Khalisah Al-Jilani to begin the Assignment.

You will be presented with a series of interview questions. Your objective is to cast humans as the superior species. You can choose dialogue options that utilize Charm or Intimidate skills, or you can attack Khalisah Al-Jilani at any point to end the interview and earn +2 Renegade points.

Saying “They know better.” (Requires 2 Intimidate) will defend your own loyalty.

Saying “A great human innovation.” (Requires 4 Intimidate) will state human superiority more.

Saying “I command the Normandy.” (Requires 5 Intimidate) will assert your own authority and skip the next question.

Saying “That’s only a formality.” will lead to an exclusive question.

If you did not choose a Charm or Intimidate option in the previous question, you will get one final question:

• Saying “If we earn it.” (Requires 8 Charm) will demand humanity earn respect instead of being given it.

Saying “When we’re strong.” (Requires 7 Intimidate) will inform her that military might will demand respect.

The final question pertains to your tracking of Saren. Your choice here will impact what Admiral Hackett remarks when you return to the Normandy.

After the interview ends, you will receive XP and Credits. You will not receive any Paragon/Renegade points until your conversation with Admiral Hackett back on the Normandy.
