Walkthrough for Chapter 2: Gift of Ganglari in Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright. Learn enemy locations, objectives, and strategies to defeat Rinkah and Kaze.
Walkthrough
- 1Use your avatar to step on the green glowing spot (Dragon Vein) to reveal a healing area. Any unit with a crown next to their name can use it.
- 2Hide in the healing fortress in the middle of the map.
- 3On your protagonist's turn, move them left to (but not attack!) one of the Samurai.
- 4Have Felicia/Jakob move behind your protagonist and initiate a combo attack with their Iron Dagger. This should defeat or nearly defeat one Samurai.
- 5After the Samurai likely attacks your protagonist on its turn, finish off Rinkah with your protagonist (red weapon is strong against green weapon).
- 6Have Felicia/Jakob attack Kaze if your protagonist is not too hurt.
- 7On the next turn, finish off the remaining Samurai with Felicia/Jakob. Move Felicia/Jakob one square away from the Samurai to provide space for your protagonist.
- 8Move your protagonist in and together you can tag team Kaze.
- 9Once the board is cleared, more chatter will ensue.
Tips
- Avoid defeating Samurai using Gunter, as he gains less experience due to being in an upgraded class. Focus on Jakob/Felicia and the avatar for experience.
- The healing area revealed by the Dragon Vein heals all units, including opponents.
- In Classic Mode, if units have their Hit Points reduced to zero, they die permanently. If the protagonist falls, it's game over.
- The Weapon Triangle: Red (swords/spellbooks) is strong vs. green (axes/clubs/bows) and weak vs. blue (lances, spears, throwing weapons). Green is strong vs. blue and weak vs. red. Blue is strong vs. red and weak vs. green.
- Your protagonist has a red weapon. Jakob/Felicia and Gunter have blue weapons. Rinkah has a green weapon. Kaze has a blue weapon. The two Hoshidan Samurai have red weapons.
- Tag Team: If you and an adjacent ally can both attack the same enemy, they boost each other in combat, and the passive character gets a free attack.
- Healing staves have a limited number of charges that can be used to heal adjacent units. Do not use up all of Felicia/Jakob's twenty charges.
- Kaze can attack through the northern wall.
- Shurikens and daggers will lower the stats of targets struck, even if they don't deal damage.
