Walkthrough
- 1Awaken in your quarters in Nohr.

- 6On your second turn, a tutorial on the System Menu (1. System Menu) will unlock. Access it by hitting (A) on an empty map tile. Options include Unit, Guide, Options, Save, and End. The "Left" option counts remaining units.
- 7Move up to Xander and attack him, triggering the Combat Forecast tutorial (8. Combat Forecast), which predicts the outcome of an encounter. You can cycle through weapons using (X) and (Y) during the preview.
- 8After resolving the attack, Xander summons a Dragon Vein. A tutorial on Healing (15. Healing) explains that standing on Healtiles heals your units.
- 9Stand on the Healtile and select "Wait".
- 10On the next turn, move back to Xander and attack him again. This should result in both characters being badly wounded and you leveling up.
- 11On the next round, strike Xander for a third and final time to win the battle.
- 12After the fight, Xander praises you, Leo experiences a wardrobe malfunction, and Camilla and Elise join. You will then meet Lilith.
Tips
- The combat forecast does not account for critical hits, dodges, or combo attacks, so be aware of these random factors.
- Level-up stat bonuses are random. To influence them, you must reload a chapter save, as reloading battle saves will yield the same results.
- Xander intentionally holds back during the fight, allowing you to heal and not attacking, making the fight easier.
- If you are defeated by Xander, it results in a game over.
