Guide to navigating the Pedestrian Terraces in Final Fantasy XIII. Learn enemy priorities, boss strategies, and how to obtain the Fortisol.
Alright, we're heading into the Pedestrian Terraces now. Things are about to get a little more intense, so pay attention!
In the next few battles, you'll encounter some PSICOM Scavengers and Predators. The Scavengers are way more dangerous than the regular soldiers, so always take them out first. Seriously, prioritize them. The Predators are also a big threat because they can cast Curse on you. That status effect makes your actions way more likely to fail and boosts enemy success rates, so you definitely want to get rid of them before dealing with the weaker enemies. If you let them hang around, these fights can get really ugly, really fast.
Before we move on, there's a Treasure Sphere you'll want to grab. Follow the path all the way to the end. You'll find it guarded by a PSICOM Warlord and some of his buddies. These guys are tough, but the strategy is similar to the previous fights: focus on the lesser soldiers first, and then take on the Warlord. Keep an eye on your party's health. If anyone gets injured, you'll see the 'Activate Manadrive' notification. That's your cue to heal up immediately. The Warlord has a powerful attack that can easily finish off injured party members, so stay vigilant during this fight. Once you've dealt with them, you'll get a Fortisol from the Treasure Sphere. Nice!
