Alright, so you've made it to the Expressway, and guess who's waiting for you? It's Yaag Rosch in his souped-up mech, the Proudclad! This guy is a real pain, especially since he's chasing you after you escaped Palamecia. He's got two forms, and you'll have to fight him twice in Eden. Don't sweat it though, we'll get through this.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Level / HP: LV 54 / 1,530,000 HP
• Strength / Magic: 420 STR / 0 MAG
• Stagger / Chain Res. / CP: 150% / 90 Chain Resistance / 10,000 CP
• Vulnerabilities: All Elements (Halved)
• Common Drop / Rare Drop: Particle Accelerator / None

Strategy:

• Before you even think about starting this fight, do yourself a favor and use a Fortisol and an Aegisol. Trust me, it makes a huge difference.
• At the start, the Proudclad's damage isn't too crazy, so you should be able to keep your HP in the green zone when you manage to Stagger it.
• Focus on building up its Stagger gauge to around 500%. Once it's there, switch your party formation to your setup that deals the most damage and finish it off.
• Now, if the Proudclad's Stagger gauge starts to drop, you're going to be in for a rough time. Immediately switch to your defensive formation and heal everyone up to full HP.
• Once you're healed, switch to a formation where Fang can draw the boss's attacks. While Fang is tanking, the Proudclad will likely recover some HP (around 300,000) and go into an auto-attack mode for a bit.
• When its frenzy is over, switch back to your offensive strategy and get that Stagger gauge up again. Keep repeating this until it's down for the count.
• After you finally defeat this metal menace, you can grab a Deceptisol. Just step into the elevator that appears.
