Mission 63: Crushed by Doubt

Alright, so you've got a big ol' turtle to deal with in Mission 63, "Crushed by Doubt." This one's a bit of a pain, but we'll get you through it. The fal'Cie want this Adamantortoise gone because someone apparently ticked it off by messing with its young. Honestly, I get the rage, but let's just get this done.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Mark Location: Archylte Steppe - Eastern Tors
• Class: A
• Additional Foes: None listed
• Prerequisite: Enter Faultwarrens

• Initial Reward: Genji Glove

Location:

You'll find this big guy chilling in the Archylte Steppe, specifically in the Eastern Tors. Look for the indented area to the left of the circle of stones. The map in that zone will pinpoint the exact target location for you.

Strategy:

Here's the easiest way to get this done quickly and efficiently. First, make Vanille your leader. Then, set up your Paradigm Deck to include 'Perseverance' and make it your default. After that, slap on as much Earth and general elemental resistance gear as you can find. Seriously, load up on it.

With your setup ready, just start spamming the 'Death' spell. It might feel a little cheap, but trust me, it's the quickest way to get a 5-star rating without pulling your hair out. Plus, you'll be done and on to the next mission in no time.

Important Note: Killing this particular Adamantortoise won't unlock the 'Adamant Will' Trophy/Achievement. For that, you need to take down one of the walkers found near the circle of stones in the Steppe.
