Alright, let's tackle Mission 47, 'Unfocused Rage,' which features the Mark, Raktavija. This is a Class B mark found in the Faultwarrens at Titan's Throne. The mission description is a bit poetic: "The soul is without boundary. It exists in all places, at all times. Entreat with the raktavija, who obscures the guarded truth, and become one with life's circle here again." When you first engage Raktavija, it'll use something called 'Inertial Barrier.' This buffs its resistances, making it tougher to damage. The good news is that staggering Raktavija will remove this barrier. Keep an eye on its attacks; it likes to use Multicast, which is a rapid series of magic spells. If the Inertial Barrier is up, on odd turns, expect spells like Firaga and Blizzaga, or Thundaga and Waterga, or Thundaga and Firaga. Sometimes it'll throw in Ruinga and Aeroga. On even turns, it's a quadruple cast of Aero, Aerora, Ruin, or Ruinga. If you manage to stagger Raktavija and its barrier is down, things change. If your party has buffs, it'll hit you with Dispelga and Slow. If you don't have buffs, it'll use Fire and Imperil, or Thunder and Deshell. Be aware that these -ga spells can deal significant damage, and the ailment spells have a chance to inflict status effects like Deshell for 60 seconds. Dispelga, by the way, removes all buffs and debuffs from everyone. **Strategy time:** For this solo Raktavija fight, you'll want to start with a paradigm like Guerilla (RAV/SYN/SAB) or Superiority (SYN/SYN/SAB). Your goal here is to cast Shell and Bravery on your party while inflicting Slow and Imperil on Raktavija. As soon as you can, switch to Tri-disaster (RAV/RAV/RAV) to stagger Raktavija quickly and get rid of that Inertial Barrier. Once it's staggered, have a Saboteur inflict Deprotect. Then, switch to Cerberus (COM/COM/RAV) to really lay into it. Try to keep Raktavija stunlocked while it's staggered. This prevents it from using Dispelga. If it does manage to use Dispelga, don't panic! Just switch back to Guerilla or Superiority to reapply your buffs like Bravery and re-inflict Deprotect on Raktavija. Then, you can go back to attacking.
