Need help with Mission 44: The Old Ones Go to Rust in Final Fantasy XIII? Learn the Corrosive Custard's weaknesses, strategy, and rewards to conquer this Titan Quest.
Walkthrough
- 1Location: You'll find the Mark, Corrosive Custard, in the Faultwarrens at the Nereid Path. The Stone Location is also in the Faultwarrens, specifically Via Solis.
- 2Enemies: Your main target is the Corrosive Custard, but it's accompanied by two other enemies: Monstrous Flan and Hybrid Flora.
- 3Strategy: The Corrosive Custard itself is weak to Thunder elemental attacks. Your Ravagers should focus on building up the chain gauge while your Medics keep everyone healed. It's best to take out the two weaker allies, the Monstrous Flan and Hybrid Flora, before focusing all your attention on the Corrosive Custard.
Tips
- The Corrosive Custard's buddies, the Monstrous Flan and Hybrid Flora, can be tough when they gang up on you. Prioritize eliminating them first to reduce the incoming damage.
- Remember to exploit the Corrosive Custard's weakness to Thunder spells. This will significantly speed up the fight and make it much easier.
- Keep a close eye on your party's HP. With three enemies attacking, damage can add up quickly, so ensure your Medics are actively healing.
- Initial Reward: General’s Belt
- Repeat Reward: Bomb Core x7
