Alright, let's tackle Mission 33: A Parent's Pledge. This one's a bit of a sad story, but we've got a job to do. You'll be hunting down a specific monster called an Adamanchelid.

Location:

You'll need to make your way to the Archylte Steppe, specifically the Eastern Tors area. The easiest way to get there is to use the teleport stone and zip to the Northern Highplane. Once you're there, grab a Chocobo and head towards the marker on your map. The big walker you see ahead is your target.

Strategy:

This Adamanchelid isn't quite as tough as its bigger Adamantoise cousins, but it can still pack a punch. Before you even think about attacking, you'll want to get your buffs sorted. Set up a Synergist to boost your party's defenses right away. Having Medics ready to heal and maybe even a Sentinel for extra defense is a good idea too. Using a Shroud can also help fortify your defenses.

Now, for its weaknesses: the Adamanchelid is weak to Ice spells. It also resists physical attacks, so magic is going to be your best friend here. On top of that, it's quite susceptible to status effects from Saboteur abilities. So, once your defenses are up and you've hit the Adamanchelid with some debilitating status effects, you can start focusing your attacks, especially with Ice magic.
