Alright, let's tackle the Garuda Interceptor! This is a two-part boss fight, so be ready for a bit of a marathon. Don't worry, though; we'll get through it together.

• Strength / Magic: 58 STR / 0 MAG
• Stagger / Chain Res. / CP: 170% / 50 Chain Resistance / 0 CP
• Vulnerabilities: Wind (Weak) / Earth (Immune)
• Drops: Silver Bangle (100% Common)

Phases:

1. First Form: This initial encounter is pretty straightforward. Garuda has low chain resistance, making it easy to stagger. Start with a paradigm that focuses on Ravagers (like Ravager/Ravager/Ravager) to build up its Chain Gauge quickly. Aim for around 120% before switching to a more balanced setup. Once it's staggered, switch to a paradigm with multiple magic users (like Ravager/Ravager/Medic) to rapidly increase the Chain Gauge to 170% and trigger a stagger.
2. Second Form: After you defeat the first form, Garuda will revive with some new tricks. Immediately switch to a paradigm that includes a Sentinel (like Sentinel/Ravager/Medic) to draw its attention and protect your party. Keep up the pressure with your Ravagers, but be aware that your attacks will seem to do very little damage (around 10-25 HP). This is because Garuda erects barriers that make it highly resistant to both physical and magical attacks. You can confirm this by pressing R1/RB to bring up the Libra screen. The key here is to stagger it again! Once it's staggered, those resistances vanish for the duration of the stagger. While it's staggered, switch back to a magic-heavy paradigm (like Ravager/Ravager/Ravager) and unleash everything you've got. The big damage bonuses from the stagger will allow you to finish it off in this single staggered state. Keep an eye out for its ultimate attack, Hellstorm Bolt, where it circles in the air before unleashing a volley of energy – it hits pretty hard, so be ready to heal!

Strategy:

• In the first fight, focus on building the Chain Gauge with magic until it's staggered, then capitalize on the stagger with more magic.
• For the second fight, use a Sentinel to tank initial hits. Build the stagger gauge again, as resistances drop when it's staggered. Then, unleash magic during the stagger for massive damage.
• Don't forget to use Libra (R1/RB) to check resistances and confirm when they're down after staggering.

• You have a chance to win Fortisol after the battle.
• You'll receive the Up In Arms Key Item, which unlocks a third shop at Save Points.
