The Sad Truth: Just like in the 'Coast Guardian' mission, this hut is swarming with zombies, including a tough Butcher. Deal with them quickly, then go inside the hut to check on Burt. Unfortunately, he's not doing well and is succumbing to his injuries, but he goes out like the hero he is.
