The Reubenator is a formidable boss in Dead Island 2, combining the abilities of several apex zombies. He can perform ground slams like a Crusher, spit bone spikes from a distance like a Mutator, and use his sharpened forearm bone for quick stabs like a Butcher. Despite his tankiness, he is relatively slow, but the fight takes place in a small arena, requiring constant movement.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Tanky but slow: Can be outmaneuvered.
• Vulnerable to ranged attacks: Firearms are most effective.
• Susceptible to explosives: Curveballs like Military Grenades are useful.

Phases:

1. Initial Phase: The Reubenator fights alone, but a Screamer will spawn from a broken tube. Deal with the Screamer quickly.
2. Mid-Fight: Around half health, two Crushers and Riot Gear Zombies will spawn. The Reubenator may accidentally kill lesser zombies.
3. Environmental Hazards: Fire bursts from walls and slam attacks from Crushers and the Reubenator become more frequent and dangerous in the confined space.
