Complete the Missing: Jamal quest in dead island 2 by finding Jamal at the Halperin Hotel and his red truck. Earn 1,500 XP.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
From the small room inside the hotel, take the stairs down and follow the path outside.

Turn right from the fence to find the first security hut.
  3. 3
Deal with the zombies in the area.
  4. 4
Destroy the electrical units associated with the green and blue electromagnetic locks (aka maglocks) above the security hut door. The wire for the green lock leads around the building to the right; smash the electrical unit on the wall. The wire for the blue lock leads inside the hut; break the window glass to attract more zombies, then throw a melee weapon or shoot the electrical unit inside.

  6. 6
Head east and turn right to slide under the gap in the fence.
  7. 7
Keep going southeast until you find the second security hut.
  8. 8
Kill the zombies outside and destroy the electrical units for the green and blue maglocks, which are in the same locations as the first hut's.
  9. 9
Loot the “Our Fellow Security Guard” item from inside the second hut.
  10. 10
Head north to the road and find Jamal’s red truck in a large crater.

Kill the zombies in the area and loot the keys to Jamal’s Stash from the large blue box in the back of the truck.
Tips
  • Be prepared for a lot of zombies, especially after breaking the window glass of the security huts.
  • Use any weapon to smash the electrical units.
  • Throwing a melee weapon or shooting is required for the blue maglock's electrical unit inside the second security hut.
