Follow this Dead Island 2 guide to complete the 'Missing: Steve' Lost and Found quest. Locate Steve at Monarch Studios and Beverly Hills, and find specific zombie types.
Walkthrough
- 1In Monarch Studios' Stage 3, find 'Steve’s to-do list' on the bed in the northern bedroom set.
- 2Inspect the kitchen items: soap and toothbrush, water bottles, and box of food near the fridge.
- 3Inspect the answering machine on the steps to the right of the fridge. An audio log will play.
- 4Head south out of Stage 3. Deal with the Screamer and other zombies.
- 5Turn west, then north into an alley with many zombies. Clear them out.
- 6Turn left, then immediately right at the end of the alley to find Jimmy's trailer.
- 7Destroy the explosive growths around the trailer by shooting or throwing melee weapons at them.
- 8Enter the trailer and kill the zombie named Sergio.
- 9Pick up Sergio's phone to advance the quest.
- 10Travel to Beverly Hills. Go through the gates south of Jimmy's trailer, head west to a gap in the wall, turn left, follow the path to the next gates, and fast travel to Beverly Hills.
- 11Locate Steve's apartment in the southwest of Beverly Hills.
- 12Find Steve on the balcony above his apartment and speak with him. He will ask you to find three specific zombie types: a Villain, a Hunk, and a Hero.
- 13Find the Perfect Villain Zombie: Head southwest up the steps to the road, then east, and turn left (northeast) to find the gates to a house. Open the gates and lure the Villain zombie (found just beyond) back to Steve's apartment. Kill it once Steve recognizes it.
- 14Find the Hot Hunk Zombie: From Steve's apartment, go southeast down the steps. You'll see a large, flaming zombie to your right. Lure this Hot Hunk zombie back to Steve's balcony. Kill it once Steve acknowledges it.
- 15Find the Brave Hero Zombie: From Steve's apartment, go west up the steps to the road. Turn right and look for a zombie in a faded hi-vis vest. Lure this Brave Hero zombie back to Steve's apartment. Kill it once Steve acknowledges it.
Tips
- When dealing with explosive growths, use a gun or throw melee weapons to detonate them from a safe distance.
- The Hot Hunk zombie is slower than the Villain, allowing for a more controlled return trip.
- The Brave Hero zombie is quick, so be prepared for ambushes along the route back to Steve's apartment.
