The key to farming Mutated Hearts is finding spots where Mutators, those nasty mutated zombies, are guaranteed to spawn. Here are a few of the best places I've found:

• God and Whiskey Mansion (Beverly Hills): This is one of the closest spots. Just head to the mansion, and you should find a Mutator chilling there. Easy peasy.
• Brentwood/Curtis Sinclair's Mansion Area (Bel-Air): This is my personal favorite, especially if you're playing as a nimble character like Bruno or Amy. You can run a route from the Brentwood Sewers entrance, through the pathways around Curtis Sinclair’s mansion, and along the main road of the Goat Pen. The sewers almost always have one, and you'll often find others spawning randomly near the mansion. You can usually snag two this way, but it’s not a 100% guarantee every single time.
• Hotel Halperin (Third Floor): Head up to the top floor of Hotel Halperin. It's usually pretty straightforward to find a Mutator here because of the layout with all the rooms and hallways. Pro-tip: instead of hunting it down, just make some noise! It'll come to you, saving you a lot of hassle.

Now, here’s the trick that applies no matter which spot you choose: these special zombie spawns don't work like the regular zombies that just pop out of nowhere. To get the Mutators to respawn, you usually have to die or reload your game. So, always keep something handy like a Molotov or Caustic-X curveball, or just run into a horde to get yourself killed quickly. Once you respawn, head back to your chosen hotspot, and you should be able to get those Mutators to appear again. This is the fastest way to rack up those Mutated Hearts.

One last thing to remember: not every Mutator drops a Mutated Heart when it dies. There's a pretty good chance, but it's not guaranteed. That's why forcing them to respawn is so important – the more you kill, the more chances you have to get the loot you need.
