Hey there! So, you've got your partner Pokémon in Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee, right? These guys are super special. You'll know them because they've got that little love heart next to their name in the menus, and they're the very first Pokémon you get. Unlike other Pikachu or Eevee you find wandering around, your partner has boosted stats, making them a real powerhouse. Plus, they get access to some awesome exclusive moves that regular Pokémon can't learn. You'll need to find specific Move Tutors scattered across the Pokémon Centers to teach them these special abilities, but once one tutor knows it, they all do!

It's worth noting that your partner Pokémon won't evolve – that's kind of the point of this game! But to make up for it, they're stronger than their wild counterparts and have those unique moves. You can even send your partner to your Pokémon Box if you want a break from battling with them, though they'll still hang out with you. Just remember, you can't trade them away.

Playing With Your Partner

Want to bond with your partner? It's easy! Just open your menu and select the big Play with Pikachu/Eevee option. You can also use your Joy-Con or Poké Ball Plus and choose Partner Play. If you're using motion controls, you can move your cursor around and pet your partner by pressing the interact button. You can even feed them a berry by selecting one from the bottom-right corner. If you're playing in Handheld Mode, just tap away on your Switch's touchscreen – it's super intuitive!

Dressing Up Your Partner

You can totally change up your partner's look! Head to the Clothing Trunk in your Bag menu to swap out their hat, glasses, clothes, and accessories. Keep an eye out as you explore, because you can find a lot of clothing items for free. For some really unique outfits, check out the Celadon City Department Store. Oh, and you can even change their hairstyle during Partner Play!

Finding Hidden Items

Your partner is also a great little item finder when you're not in battle. If you notice their tail starting to wag faster than usual, it means there's a hidden item nearby. Just keep moving around until their tail goes into overdrive – you'll definitely know it when you see it! Once you've found the spot, press the interact button to search and snag your prize.
