Discover wild Pokémon, battle Snorlax, and find valuable items like PP Up and TM14 Fly on Route 16. Learn strategies for trainers and trainers in Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee.
Walkthrough
- 1Upon entering Route 16, you'll encounter a sleeping Snorlax blocking the path. Use the Poké Flute to wake it up.
- 2If this is your first time waking Snorlax, Mr. Fuji will appear to warn you.
- 3Snorlax is a Level 34 Normal-type Pokémon. It has increased Defense and can use Rest to heal. Fighting-types are recommended. You can also summon a Player 2 for assistance.
- 4After defeating Snorlax, you can capture it.
- 5Head west from Snorlax. Near a fence in the tall grass, you can find a PP Up.
- 6Continue west to a gatehouse. Inside the house on the north-west corner of the route, a shy lady will give you TM14 Fly if you enter.
- 7Outside the house, you'll encounter three trainers: Punk Guy Lao, Punk Guy Hideo, and Roughneck Koji.
- 8Punk Guy Lao has an Onix (Level 36, Rock/Ground) and a Muk (Level 36, Poison). Ground-types are useful against Onix, while Steel-types are immune to Muk's Poison moves.
- 9Punk Guy Hideo has an Arbok (Level 36, Poison) and a Fearow (Level 36, Normal/Flying). Ground or Psychic-types are good against Arbok, which can inflict paralysis.
- 10Roughneck Koji has a Raticate (Level 36, Normal), a Koffing (Level 36, Poison), and a Rhyhorn (Level 36, Ground/Rock). Koffing can use Self-Destruct, so defeat it quickly.
- 11Return to the start of Route 16 and head west through the gatehouse. Upstairs, if you have caught 40 unique Pokémon species, Oak's assistant will give you 30 Ultra Balls.
- 12Exit the gatehouse to the west and continue west until you reach the fence at the end of Route 12.
- 13Near a windmill, you can find 3 Great Balls.
- 14Go down a few paces and head east to find a Camper. You can battle him or sneak past.
- 15Camper Ruben has two Psyduck (Level 35, Water). Grass or Electric-types are effective against them.
- 16After passing Camper Ruben, you will reach Route 13.
