The Hexagonal Chart

Hey there! When you're checking out your Pokémon's stats in Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee, you'll notice a cool hexagonal chart on the right side of the screen. Think of it like a visual summary of how strong your Pokémon is in each area.

Basically, the stats like HP, Attack, Defense, and so on are listed around the edges of the hexagon. The blue shape you see inside is a representation of those actual stat numbers. The closer that blue shape gets to the edge of the hexagon, the better that particular stat is for your Pokémon.

Now, if you've been giving your Pokémon those awesome stat-boosting candies, you'll see another shape layered on top of the blue one – it's usually yellow or red. This outer shape shows the extra boost you've gotten from all those candies. So, when you're looking at the chart, remember that the blue shape plus the yellow/red candy boost together make up the total stat value you see listed outside the chart.

The Judge Display: Digging Deeper into IVs

Once you've progressed a bit and unlocked the 'Judge' function, you can get an even more detailed look. Pressing the Y button will bring up a similar chart, but this one's all about your Pokémon's Individual Values, or IVs. These are like your Pokémon's natural, inherent potential.

Just like before, the blue shape here shows your Pokémon's IVs. The closer the blue shape is to the edge of the hexagon, the better its natural potential is in that stat. You'll also see text labels around the edges, like 'Good' or 'OK,' which give you a quick rundown of how good those IVs are. It's a super handy way to see if your Pokémon has the potential to be a real powerhouse!
