Route 17

Explore Route 17 in pokemon lets go pikachu and lets go eevee, find hidden berries, battle trainers like Beauty Alexis with her Jolteon, and collect items.

Route 17 is situated between Route 16 and Route 18 and is commonly referred to as Pokemon Road. This area is frequented by people who enjoy playing and riding with their Pokemon. Additionally, numerous flower beds are present, from which you can obtain berries. Upon entering from Route 16, proceed immediately to the left along the bottom edge of the fence. In the top-left corner, search the flower beds for some hidden berries.

Next, make your way right towards the opposite side of the route, where the red lampposts are located. Descend to the wooden benches situated below and collect the Super Potion positioned in front of them. Step into the yellow flower beds below, near the second red lamppost. Search the middle area for more hidden berries. Below this, you will find a Beauty NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you) named Alexis with a Jolteon that you can battle.

Beauty Alexis

Alexis's Pokémon:

• Jolteon (Level 37, Electric)

Alexis possesses the Electric-type evolution of Eevee. This swift Pokémon has exceptional Speed and its most notable attack is Thunderbolt. Therefore, a Ground-type Pokémon would be the ideal counter.

Following that encounter, head left back towards the main road. Opposite the wooden benches, there is a Picnicker with her Vaporeon. You may choose to battle her if you wish.

Picnicker Dalia

Dalia's Pokémon:

• Vaporeon (Level 37, Water)

This is the Water-type evolution of Eevee, which exhibits considerable resistance to special attacks. Dalia’s Vaporeon can utilize a STAB-boosted Surf, along with Aurora Beam to trouble Grass-types. Electric-types are recommended; Grass-types may also be able to out-damage it.

Proceed to the flower beds located south of Picnicker Dalia and west of Beauty Alexis. Search the middle area for a third collection of hidden berries. More berries can be found as you continue south. Near the corner of the road, you will encounter a Lass with her Flareon.

Lass Mila

Mila's Pokémon:

• Flareon (Level 36, Fire)

To complete the trio, we have the Fire-type evolution of Eevee, Flareon, which focuses on physical attacks. Mila’s Flareon can use Flamethrower, as well as Double Kick to damage Rock-types. Water and Ground-type Pokémon are solid choices against it.

Travel a short distance south-west from the Lass. In this area, there is a flower bed situated just above the tall grass. Search this flower bed for the fourth set of hidden berries. Afterward, follow the road east. Upon reaching the flower bed below a second set of wooden benches, search the left side of the flower bed for additional hidden berries.

Now, head south-west towards the large patch of tall grass on the left side of the main road. Near the top of this patch, you can find a Super Lure. When you are prepared, proceed east back onto the main road. Approximately one-third of the way down the road, you will find a skilled Ace Trainer with his Wartortle, ready for a battle.

Ace Trainer Johnson

Johnson's Pokémon:

• Wartortle (Level 40, Water)
• Magneton (Level 39, Electric/Steel)
• Marowak (Level 39, Ground)

Wartortle is the middle evolution of Squirtle. This particular Wartortle can use STAB Surf, and Ice Beam to counter Grass-types. Electric-types are recommended. If you are confident, Grass-types can also be effective.

Magneton should be familiar. It is weak to Fire and Fighting-type attacks, and exceptionally weak to Ground-type attacks. Expect it to use STAB Thunderbolt or Flash Cannon. It can also utilize the Normal-type move Tri Attack.

Marowak, which you may recall from Pokémon Tower, is the evolved form of Cubone. It is weak to Grass, Water, and Ice-type attacks. It can use Bonemerang for STAB, and Rock Slide to damage Flying and Ice-types.

After defeating Johnson’s Pokémon, follow the road south until you reach the next corner. Then, proceed west. Upon reaching the fence, search the flower bed below the large patch of tall grass for more hidden berries. This makes six stashes found so far. Continue south along the road, paying attention to the right side. In the middle, there is a stretch of tall grass bordered by flower beds. When you reach the bottom of this tall grass, go over and collect the Elixir that is located there. Then, move to the nearby flower bed and search for the seventh collection of hidden berries. From this point, you can travel south along either the left or right side of the road.

Both paths lead to the same destination, but the right side is free of trainers. However, halfway along the left side, you will encounter a tough-looking Punk Guy named Corey with his equally tough-looking Primeape.

Punk Guy Corey

Corey's Pokémon:

• Primeape (Level 38, Fighting)
• Graveler (Level 38, Rock/Ground)

Corey’s Primeape uses Seismic Toss to inflict 38 fixed damage, and U-Turn to deal Bug-type damage before switching out. Flying and Fairy-type Pokémon are recommended. His Graveler has STAB-boosted Earthquake and Rock Slide. As usual, Water and Grass-type Pokémon are effective against it.

Further south, the two paths will converge. Near the middle of the route, at the very top, you will find a Coach Trainer observing the pond in the center of the route. To his right is a flower bed containing the eighth stash of hidden berries. Below him, you can find a Rare Candy.
