- 1Lass Kay: Oddish (Level 28, Grass/Poison). Weak to Fire, Flying, Ice, and Psychic. Be wary of Toxic.
- 2Head south, then east. Cut down the top tree branch and follow the path north. Branching paths appear; go east to battle Beauty.
- 3Beauty Mai: Exeggcute (Level 29, Grass/Psychic). Doubly weak to Bug-types. Also weak to Fire, Ice, Flying, and Dark. Watch out for status moves.
- 4From the previous branch, head west and around. As you turn east, avoid Picnicker Tina by hugging the hedge below.

- 6Continue south from Tina. After a corner, a Beauty is to the right. Hug the hedges above to avoid her.
- 7Beauty Tamia: Oddish (Level 29, Grass/Poison) and Weepinbell (Level 29, Grass/Poison). Weak to Fire, Flying, Ice, Psychic, and Steel (for poison resistance).
- 8Head north from Tamia towards tree branches. Cut down the left branch to proceed west. You will pass Erika. Near the north-west corner, a Beauty can be evaded by staying near the hedges below.
- 9Beauty Lori: Gloom (Level 29, Grass/Poison). . This Gloom only has attacking moves.
- 10Follow the path below. In the bottom-right corner, slow down to avoid a trainer to the left by not standing in the center of the path.
- 11Ace Trainer Mary: Weepinbell (Level 31, Grass/Poison) and Tangela (Level 32, Grass). Weepinbell can cause Paralysis. Tangela is pure Grass, making it easy to counter with super-effective moves.
- 12Go up and around to the left. To the north-west, you'll find Lass Lina.
