Alright, let's get ready to face Lorelei again in the Indigo Plateau! She's still the queen of Ice-types, but she's mixed things up a bit since your last encounter. You'll want to bring your best Electric and Fighting-type Pokémon, but keep an eye out for her new tricks.

Here's a look at her team and how to handle them:

PokémonLevelType
Dewgong61Water/Ice
Alolan Sandslash61Ice/Steel
Cloyster61Water/Ice
Lapras62Water/Ice
Slowbro61Water/Psychic
Jynx61Ice/Psychic

First up is her Dewgong. It's got Waterfall, Ice Shard, Aqua Jet, and now Iron Tail. While Iron Tail is new, it doesn't change much. Your best bet here is still strong Electric or Fighting-types to take it down quickly.

Next, she's brought in the Alolan Sandslash. This one's typing is Ice/Steel, making it super weak to Fire and Fighting attacks. It knows Ice Punch, Iron Tail, Ice Shard, and Earthquake. It's pretty slow, so try to land a one-hit KO before it can do much damage.

Then there's Cloyster. It's learned Poison Jab and Blizzard, on top of its usual Hydro Pump and Spike Cannon. Just make sure you're not bringing a Pokémon that's weak to Poison Jab. Honestly, any strong special attacker, especially Electric or Grass-types, will do the job here.

Her strongest Pokémon is Lapras. It still has Hydro Pump, Blizzard, and Dragon Pulse, but now it's added Thunder to deal with other Water-types. Electric and Fighting-types are still your best bet to counter this beast.

Slowbro is a bit of an oddball on her team since it's not an Ice-type. It knows Surf, Psychic, and Fire Blast (replacing Flamethrower). The biggest threat here is Yawn, which can put your Pokémon to sleep on the next turn. Electric and Dark-types are your safest choices, especially if they hit hard on the special side.

Finally, we have Jynx. It can now use Shadow Ball in addition to Blizzard, Psychic, and Lovely Kiss. Shadow Ball helps it hit Psychic-types, but you probably won't be using one against it. Fire or Steel-types are a good choice here, or Rock-types if they aren't weak to Ice.
