- 1Battle the Galactic Grunt: This guy's got a Level 25 Beautifly and a Level 27 Croagunk. The Beautifly is pretty weak against Fire-type moves, so if you've got one, use it! The Croagunk might be a little tougher, but honestly, by this point in the game, a grunt shouldn't give you too much trouble.
- 2Find Cynthia's Grandmother: Once you've dealt with the grunt, head into the cave. Go all the way to the back and check out the paintings on the wall. This will make Cynthia's grandmother appear.
- 3Get Surf (TM95): Chat with her, give her the Old Charm you've been carrying, and she'll reward you with the TM95 Surf! This is a big deal because it lets you travel across water outside of battle.
