The Pokémon Mansion itself is located on the east side of Route 212 (North), and inside you'll meet Mr. Backlot. He's a bit of a show-off about his Pokémon, but he's key to getting some unique encounters later on. The real magic happens in the Trophy Garden, which you can access through the back door of the mansion.

Here's a quick rundown of the items you can snag inside the mansion:

• Great Ball — You can find this in the left-most room.
• Burn Heal — Check the trash can in the left-most room; it's hidden!
• Soothe Bell — The maid in the middle room, along the left corridor, will give you this. It makes your Pokémon friendlier, which is super useful!
• TM87 Swagger — This one's in Mr. Backlot’s office, located in the right-hand corridor.

Now, the Trophy Garden is where things get really interesting. It's a special habitat where you can find wild Pokémon. Normally, you'll see Pokémon like Pichu and Pikachu here. But here's the cool part: after you get the National Pokédex, Mr. Backlot will add a new Pokémon to the garden each day you talk to him. You'll then be able to encounter that Pokémon, plus the one from the previous day!
