Walkthrough
- 1Obtain the Digger Drill: Head to Eterna City and enter the house to the right of the Pokémon Center. Speak to the Underground Man. Complete two tasks for him: venture into the Grand Underground and perform a dig. You can do both in a single trip. Upon returning, he will reward you with the Digger Drill after your first dig. Alternatively, Digger Drills can be purchased from Sphere Traders in the Grand Underground.
- 2Build Your Secret Base: Once you have the Digger Drill, enter the Grand Underground using your Explorer's Kit. Find any wall you wish to use for your base. Face the wall and press the 'A' button. You will be given the option to create an opening for your Secret Base.
- 3Decorate Your Base: Interact with the orb located to the right of the cave entrance in your Secret Base. If you have collected Statues from digging, you can choose to place them down. Placing Statues will increase the encounter rate of the corresponding Pokémon type in the Grand Underground caverns.
Tips
- You can only create one Secret Base. If you use the Digger Drill again on a different wall, your previous base will be destroyed, and the Digger Drill will break. You will then need to purchase a new one from a Sphere Trader.
- Statues found while digging can be shiny.
- Placing Statues in your Secret Base influences Pokémon encounter rates based on the Statue's type.
