Alright, so you've made it to the post-game in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and you're ready to explore the Grand Underground further. Typhlo Cavern is one of the larger hideaways you can find, and it's only accessible after you've completed the main story. To get there, you'll need to take the ferry from Snowpoint City and then head underground from the Fight Zone. This will open up the final region of the underground for you to explore.

Inside Typhlo Cavern, you'll find a couple of important TMs hidden away. Keep an eye out for TM50 Overheat, which is located in the center of the cavern, facing towards the north-west. Also in the center, but facing south-east, you'll find TM71 Stone Edge. These are great additions to your collection!

As for the Pokémon you can encounter, Typhlo Cavern has a good variety depending on your progress:

• Available from the start: You'll find Geodude, Onix, and Skorupi hanging around.
• Rare Spawns: Keep an eye out for Houndoom, Magby (Shining Pearl exclusive), and Rhyhorn.
• Available after obtaining Strength: Once you have the Strength HM, Ponyta will start appearing.
• Available after obtaining Defog: With Defog in your inventory, you'll start seeing Graveler.
• Available after obtaining the National Pokédex: This is when the cavern really opens up! You can find Camerupt, Charmander, Chimchar, Cyndaquil, Furret, Growlithe (Brilliant Diamond exclusive), Magby (Shining Pearl exclusive), Magcargo, Numel, Sentret, Slugma, Torchic, Torkoal, and Vulpix (Shining Pearl exclusive).

Make sure you've got a good team ready, especially for those rare spawns and the later-game Pokémon that appear after you've expanded your Pokédex!
