Strategy:

• Focus on Seltas Queen: Don't waste time trying to kill the Seltas that accompanies her; she can just summon another one. It's more efficient to focus your efforts on the Queen herself.
• Understand the Merge: When Seltas Queen uses her pheromones, she and Seltas merge. This is when they're at their most dangerous, combining Seltas Queen's brute strength with Seltas's speed.
• Trap Tactics: Be aware that if you try to use a Pitfall Trap on the merged pair, Seltas will actually pull the Queen out of it. If you use a Shock Trap, only the Seltas Queen will be affected, leaving Seltas free to attack from her back.
• Elemental Advantage: Exploit her weaknesses! Seltas Queen is particularly vulnerable to Fire and Ice attacks, so bring weapons with those elements if you can.
• Watch for Attacks:
• Hip Check: She'll swing her whole body at you. Dodge to the side.
• Tail Swipe: She raises her tail and then swipes with surprising range and precision. Keep your distance or dodge through it.
• Charge: A slow charge that's easier to avoid when she's not enraged.
• Mucus Blast: During rage mode, she unleashes a powerful, guaranteed-stun mucus blast from her mouth. This is a big one to dodge!
• Pickup and Drop (Merged): When merged, Seltas might pick her up and drop her on you. Stay mobile!
• Double Power Charge (Merged): Seltas helps propel her charges, making them faster and more frequent (up to three times). These hit hard and have a wide area, so be very careful.
