Jurassic Treasure: The Frog

Objective: Capture a Tetsucabra

Location: Jurassic Frontier

Notes: Talk to Treshi in Kokoto Village. This is likely your first capture quest. If you are unfamiliar with capturing, it is highly recommended to complete the training quest “Hunter Training: Capturing”. Completing this quest grants access to the Tailed Frog ingredient for your Kitchen.

Local Threat

Objective: Hunt a Yian Kut-Ku

Location: Verdant Hills

Subquest: Wound Yian Kut-Ku’s head

Notes: Complete the 2-star quest “Hunt Down the Velocidrome!” to unlock this request from the Kokoto Chief. Aim for the head and beak area to easily complete the subquest. Completing this quest unlocks the next request, “Into the Wyvern’s Den”.

Into the Wyverns Den

Objective: Deliver 2 Wyvern Eggs

Location: Verdant Hills

Notes: Complete “Local Threat” to unlock this quest from the Kokoto Chief. Head to area 5 of Verdant Hills. An Astalos will be sleeping in the nest. Skills like Pro Transporter and Felyne Lander can help. Felyne Lander will shorten the path when jumping down ledges in area 6. This unlocks the 5-star village quest “The Thunderclaw Wyvern”.

Cancer of the Dunes

Objective: Slay 10 Hermitaur before time expires or deliver a Paw Pass Ticket

Location: Dunes

Notes: Talk to Trenya in Pokke Village. You must kill 10 small crabs (Hermitaurs) to make a Paw Pass Ticket appear, then deliver the ticket. The blue box provides a Farcaster to warp instantly back to base camp. This quest is unstable. Completion unlocks the 4-star village quest “Hunt-a-thon: Velocidrome” and rewards you with a Giant Acorn to craft the Felyne Bowgun.

The Shadow in the Mountains

Objective: Hunt a Khezu

Location: Arctic Ridge

Subquest: Mount and topple monster twice

Notes: This request from the Pokke Village Chief requires completion of the 2-star village quest “The Mountain Roughrider”. Bring Paintballs and Nulberries, or thunder-resistant armor, as Khezu uses thunder attacks that can cause Thunderblight, doubling the chance of stun. Khezu starts in area 8. Completing this quest unlocks the next request, “No Go on the Popo”, and a new Arena quest “Grudge Match: Khezu”.

No Go on the Popo

Objective: Deliver 3 Popo Tongues

Location: Arctic Ridge

Notes: Complete “The Shadow in the Mountains” and talk to the Pokke Chief. Gammoth might appear and attack. Collect the Popo Tongues and return to base camp. Completing this quest unlocks the 5-star village quest “The Unwavering Colossus”.

For Whom the Egg Yolks

Objective: Deliver 3 Gargwa Eggs

Location: Misty Peaks

Subquest: Deliver 3 Gargwa Guano

Notes: If you’ve completed the 2-star village quest “Arzuros the Azure Beast”, the Loc Lac Guide in the Yukumo footbath offers this request. If you are unfamiliar with egg delivery quests, it is strongly recommended to do the training quest “Hunter Training: Transporting”. Skills like Pro Transporter can help. Completion grants the Loc Lac Peanut ingredient for the Kitchen.

Royal Spit Take

Objective: Hunt a Royal Ludroth

Location: Misty Peaks

Subquest: Deliver 1 Wyvern Tear

Notes: This is a Misty Peaks version of the “Current Events” key quest. Talk to the Yukumo Chief. You must have completed the 2-star village quest “Arzuros the Azure Beast”. Completing this quest unlocks the next request, “A Forest Fracas”.
