In Generations, it's back and ready to zap you with some serious attacks, even though we don't have underwater combat anymore. This thing can be found in the Misty Peaks and Deserted Island areas, usually hanging out in area 7, but it likes to roam around areas 5, 6, and 9 in the Misty Peaks, and 4, 5, and 6 on the Deserted Island. When it's time to rest, it'll often be in area 8 of Misty Peaks or area 10 of the Deserted Island.

Lagiacrus Attacks and How to Deal With Them

• Slithering Charge: It'll just slide forward to try and knock you down. When it's enraged, watch out because it'll be covered in electricity, making the hit even more dangerous.
• Hipcheck: The Lagiacrus will turn its side to you and then quickly sidestep in your direction. This attack has a surprisingly large hitbox, so even Aerial style dodges might not get you over it without some luck. It also gets an electric coating when enraged.
• Double Chomp: It lunges forward twice, covering a lot of ground. Its head swings side-to-side quite a bit, so this attack has a much larger range than you might think. Your best bet is to just get out of the way.
• Lightning Shock: It'll coil up and then unleash electricity from its shell shockers. The longer it takes to wind up, the more powerful and widespread the blast will be. So, yeah, run!
• Lightning Puddle: This is a nasty one. It swings its head back and forth, spitting out electricity that creates huge explosive areas. It does this three times. You really want to try and stay right next to its body to avoid the massive range of this attack.
• Lightning Orbit: The Lagiacrus spins around, creating three electric orbs that circle its body, getting wider as they go. If you're too close, they'll hit you. You'll need to carefully weave between them to find openings to attack.
• Electric Spit: This is a more straightforward attack. It just spits a single electro ball at you. It's not as threatening as some of its other moves, but still keep an eye on it.
• Body Whip: It coils up and then quickly lashes out with its tail. Keep your distance when you see this wind-up.
