Welcome back to Pokke Village, a familiar winter wonderland that first appeared in Monster Hunter Freedom 2 and Freedom Unite! It's made a cozy return in Monster Hunter Generations as one of your main hub areas. Nestled in the snow, its closest region is the Arctic Ridge. While it might not have as many essential NPCs as Bherna Village, Pokke still has some friendly faces and all the facilities you'll need, just like the other hub villages and the hunter's prep area. You'll find your trusty smithy, a bustling market, your personal house, and the kitchen, all ready to serve you.

Right near the entrance, you'll meet the Grandmeow. She's a Felyne who scouts for Palicos looking to work with hunters, kind of like the Meowstress but with a bit more enthusiasm. You can scout for new Palicos and hire them with zenny.

Over by the quest gate, you'll find the Pokke Chief warming herself by a fire. She might be elderly, but she's a great source for village requests. Completing these requests will reward you handsomely!

Keep an eye out for the Cave Cattendant, who watches over the Mystery Cave. This spot isn't too exciting until you've defeated the Gammoth in the 5-star solo campaign quests. Once you have, you can mine ancient sword fragments here, which can be used to craft cool weapons and armor. Until then, you might want to skip this particular tourist spot.

Just like in other villages, you'll encounter characters from past Monster Hunter games. Look out for the Funky Felyne from Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate – that cat-fro is unforgettable! Many of these returning characters offer their own village requests, but you can always chat with them to reminisce about your past adventures.
