2-star Yukumo Quests

Complete 2-star Yukumo Quests in monster hunter generations, including slaying Jaggia and hunting Arzuros in Misty Peaks.

Bye Bye Jaggia

Objective: Slay 8 Jaggia

Location: Misty Peaks

Notes: Talk to the Yukumo Chief to start this quest. You must slay the larger female Jaggia; smaller male Jaggi do not count. Areas 4, 6, and 9 are good places to find Jaggia. Completion unlocks Arzuros the Azure Beast.

Arzuros the Azure Beast

Objective: Hunt an Arzuros

Location: Misty Peaks

Subquest: Mount and topple monster twice. Using an Insect Glaive or the aerial hunting style can make this easier.

Notes: Go to area 5 for the introductory cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically). Mounting the monster twice fulfills the subquest. Completion unlocks Howling Harassment, Fungal Fad, Sunsnug Sprout Courier, Misty Peaks Accounting, several 3-star quests (For Whom the Egg Yolks, Royal Honey Hunt, Royal Spit Take, The Crabbiest Catch), and the 4-star quest Peddling Practice. Completing this quest and the 5-star key quest A King, Robed in Smoke unlocks the 5-star village quest Island Head. It also unlocks Liver and Let Die in the 5-star Hunter’s Hub. You will also receive the Yukumo and Yukumo Sky armor sets for hunters, and F Yukumo Bokken, F Yukumon Bonito, and F Yukumo and F Yukumo S Palico gear for your Palico.

Howling Harassment

Objective: Slay 15 Jaggi

Location: Misty Peaks

Subquest: Wound Arzuros’s front leg. Breaking its front leg "braces" can yield good rewards.

Notes: Arzuros appears as a guest monster. Focus on breaking its front leg.

Fungal Fad

Objective: Deliver 10 Unique Mushrooms

Location: Misty Peaks

Subquest: Deliver 5 Super Sprouts

Notes: Mushrooms can be found in areas 2, 5, and 7. Super Sprouts can be found in area 3 at the Felyne camp, atop a ledge with an infinite gathering spot.

Sunsnug Sprout Courier

Objective: Deliver 10 Super Sprouts

Location: Misty Peaks

Subquest: Deliver 3 Secret Stashes

Notes: Talk to the Headwhiskress in Yukumo when she appears. Super Sprouts are in area 3. The path from area 2 to 3 is blocked by boulders, requiring you to travel through areas 1, 2, 6, 8, 9, then 3. An Arzuros may be encountered on this path. The Super Sprouts spot is infinite. Secret Stashes are obtained by defeating Melynx and picking up shiny objects they drop.

Misty Peaks Accounting

Objective: Earn 1,000 Wycademy Points

Location: Misty Peaks

Subquest: Hunt an Arzuros

Notes: Gather account items to earn Wycademy Points. An Arzuros will appear during this quest.
