Player Level Trophies

As you level up in horizon zero dawn, you will earn skill points to learn abilities. There are three rows of skills, costing 1 SP, 2 SP, and 3 SP respectively. You need 81 skill points to learn all skills. While the max level is 50, granting 50 skill points, additional points are awarded from main story quests, overriding Tallnecks, finishing Cauldrons, and earning Blazing Sun marks in Hunting Ground trials.

  • Reached level 10: Reached player level 10.
  • Reached level 25: Reached player level 25.
  • Reached level 40: Reached player level 40.
  • Reached level 50: Reached player level 50.
  • All Skills Learned: Learned all available skills.

Tallneck Trophies

Tallnecks are large, giraffe-like machines with satellite dishes for heads that patrol a set path. They are marked on the map with a unique symbol. Approaching one will trigger Aloy to mention a signal. Using your Focus, scan for a purple, pulsating signal to start a sidequest to reach the Tallneck's top. You must find a spot on its patrol path high enough to jump onto platforms on its neck. Climbing to the top and overriding it reveals machine sites and side activity markers, and removes fog from the map.

  • First Tallneck Overridden: Scaled a Tallneck and accessed its information.
  • All Tallnecks Overridden: Scaled all of the Tallnecks and accessed their information.

Bandit Camp Trophies

Bandit Camps are marked with a blue skull and there are six in total. They are structured similarly, with enemy difficulty increasing in later camps. Camps contain alarms that, if triggered, summon more enemies, but can be disabled by shooting their sac. Prisoners can be freed to fight alongside you. Killing all enemies clears the camp and turns it into a friendly outpost.

  • First Bandit Camp cleared: Took back a settlement from a bandit clan.
  • Cleared all the Bandit Camps: Took back all settlements from the bandit clans.

Cauldron Trophies

Cauldrons function as dungeons where you unlock the ability to override more machines. They are marked on the map with a blue up arrow (^) and a secondary symbol. There are four Cauldrons, each with a unique layout and granting access to override different machines upon completion.

  • First Core Overridden: Reached the Core of a Cauldron and accessed its information.
  • All Cores Overridden: Reached the Core of every Cauldron and accessed the information within.

Corrupted Zone Trophies

Corrupted Zones are areas marked on the map with a circle and an X, where more aggressive and deadlier corrupted machine variants are prevalent. The goal is to kill all corrupted machines within the zone to clear it.

  • First Corrupted Zone cleared: Killed all the corrupted machines in a Corrupted Zone.
  • All Corrupted Zones cleared: Killed all the corrupted machines in every Corrupted Zone.

Hunting Ground Trophies

Hunting Grounds offer trials with specific objectives and time limits, such as knocking off machine parts or using specific weapons. There are five Hunting Grounds, each with three trials. Finishing trials within certain times earns marks: Half Sun (lowest), Full Sun (second), and Blazing Sun (first). Earning Blazing Sun marks in all trials at each Hunting Ground is required for related trophies.

  • All Suns at one Ground: Earned at least a Half Sun mark in all three trials at one Hunting Ground.
  • Blazing Suns at one Ground: Earned a Blazing Sun mark in all three trials at one Hunting Ground.
  • All Suns at all Grounds: Earned at least a Half Sun mark in all trials at all of the Hunting Grounds.
  • Blazing Suns at all Grounds: Earned a Blazing Sun mark in all three trials at all of the Hunting Grounds.
