Follow this Horizon Zero Dawn walkthrough to help Brin the Banuk Shaman collect machine blood samples, including Sawtooth, Corruptor, Stalker, Thunderjaw, and Stormbird.
Walkthrough
- 1Speak with Brin, a Banuk Shaman, who is located in a dead-end west of a Glinthawk site, which is west of the Tallneck in the Sun-Steps.
- 2He will first ask for the blood of a Sawtooth. A Sawtooth site is located northwest of Brin's location. Sawtooths are weak to fire.
- 3Kill a Sawtooth, loot its blood, and return it to Brin.
- 4Brin's second request is for the blood of a Corruptor. You can find one on a cliff south/southeast of the Tallneck in Sun-Steps. The closest campfire is south of the Tallneck. Fast travel there, go east, then south onto the cliffs.
- 5There may be Scrappers and Glinthawks in the area. Clear them out. You do not need to kill the Corruptor; loot its blood from its body after clearing the area.
- 6Return the Corruptor blood to Brin.
- 7Brin's third request is for the blood of a Stalker. Head to a Stalker site southwest of Meridian Village. Stalker sites are indicated by signal flares on the ground.
- 8Trigger a Stalker to approach, kill it, and acquire its blood.
- 9Return the Stalker blood to Brin.
- 10Brin's next request is for the blood of a Thunderjaw. You can find two Thunderjaws in a valley east of Meridian, or one Thunderjaw by a campfire northeast of Meridian for an easier encounter.
- 11Kill a Thunderjaw, bring its blood back to Brin.
- 12Brin's final request is for the blood of a Stormbird. He will send you north of Pitchcliff, or you can find one near the Greatrun Hunting Grounds.
- 13Kill a Stormbird, clip its wings, and bring the blood back to Brin to complete the quest.
Tips
- Sawtooths are weak to fire.
- You do not need to kill the Corruptor; you only need to loot its blood after clearing the surrounding scavengers.
- For the Thunderjaw, there is an easier option by the campfire northeast of Meridian.
- For the Stormbird, clipping its wings is mentioned as part of the process.
