Walkthrough
- 1Depart the Door and speak with the Priest to save your game.
- 2Visit the Merchant and check his wares; Hardy Hides are useful materials.
- 3Head south and follow the path west into the eastern Hotto Steppe.
- 4Encounter new monsters: Garuda (can damage the entire party with flame-based attacks), She-slime, Drohl drone (Night only), and Bongo Drongo (can call more monsters and increase enemy attack power). Prioritize defeating the Bongo Drongo.
- 5Just south of Hotto town, search along the north cliff for a Sparkly Spot containing a Warmaline.
- 6Head southwest from this location and up the hill to find another Sparkly Spot containing a Lava Lump.
- 7Head north and enter the village of Hotto.
- 8In the central area, go to the house on your left and search the wardrobe for a Flaxen Thread.
- 9Exit and enter the next house to your west, search the wardrobe for 100G.

- 11Return to the center and search behind the large furnace to find a Sparkly Spot containing a Warmaline.
- 12East of the furnace, search below the walkway east of the Item shop to find pots containing 20G.
