Once you've progressed far enough to unlock the Drustan Trials, you'll gain access to a new set of horse races in Gallopolis called the Black Cup. Now, these aren't your average races – they're super challenging, taking place in near total darkness with tough opponents. But here's the best part: you get a Mini Medal just for participating! Seriously, no matter if you win or come in last, you're guaranteed a Mini Medal every single time. So, if you just want to rack 'em up quickly, hopping into the Black Cup is a fantastic way to do it.

Enemy Drops in the Drustan Trials

As you get into the Drustan Trials, you'll start encountering enemies that can drop Mini Medals. It's important to know that these medals are usually the 'common' drop for these specific enemies. This means you can also try your luck with Erik's Steal ability, which can be a real lifesaver. While there's one enemy outside the Trials that drops them, it doesn't respawn reliably, so focusing on the Trials is your best bet. The very first area, The Cruel Crypt, is actually one of the prime spots because it has several enemies that can drop medals. Make sure you head there at night, as time doesn't pass normally within the Trials themselves, so you'll need to ensure it's nighttime before you enter Trial Isle.

Keep an eye out for the red shadow ghosts known as Umbras, as well as the Vicious Penny Pinchers and Vicious Bloody Hands. All three of these baddies can drop Mini Medals. Remember, they're in the common drop slot, so Erik's stealing skill is definitely worth using!

Another solid place to farm is the Sage's Trial - Hoarder's Keep. The Gold-Plated Puppets in the very first room you enter can drop them. It's a pretty efficient spot if you're looking for a quick medal.
