    When you first arrive, speak to the warrior to accept the A Robbery in Rendarak quest.

    Be aware of trap holes on the ground, marked by stones. Avoid these areas.

    On the first floor, take the stairs going up towards the middle of the floor.

    On the second floor, follow the restless armour to the left, then south at the third set of stairs.

    After the armour runs off again, collect the Thunderball from a chest southeast and then north.

    Return to the stairs and head west through the passage. Continue west and climb stairs to find a chest with a Seed of Strength.

    Double back to the room where you last saw the armour and head north. Open the chest for 1383G.

    Continue north, then west to more stairs. Collect a Seed of Deftness and 570G from chests at the end of this path.

    Double back to the previous split and take the northeastern path to more stairs.

    On a floor with many trap holes, carefully make your way to the stairs just south of your initial position.

    At the four-way intersection, follow this maze path: East, Northwest, Northeast, East, Northeast, North, Northwest, North, East, and East.

    You will reach a room with the restless armour. Heal and restore MP. Speak to the armour to initiate the boss fight.

BOSS - Erdrick’s Restless Armour

  • HP: ~4000
  • Actions: Acts twice per round.
  • Attacks: Can summon lightning with Thunderbolt Blade, use Gigaslash on the party, and inflict defense debuffs with Kasap. Also uses Fizzle and Moreheal.
  • Weaknesses: Lightning-based attacks can be countered with Hymn of Thunder (Serena).
  • Strategy: Counter Kasap with Kabuff. Be prepared for strong physical and lightning attacks.
Tips
  • Six enemies are found only in this area: Batmandrill, Hellbound Heretic, Hybird, King Foo Dog, Tiger Jackal, and Troobloovoodoo. Stick around on each floor to encounter them for your bestiary.
  • The Hellbound Heretic's rare drop is the Black Tear material.
