Discover all the loot in Part 40 of our Dishonored 2 walkthrough, including valuable charts, ores, and special items. Learn how to deal with Breanna Ashworth and her gravehounds.
Alright, let's dive into Part 40 of our Dishonored 2 journey. This section focuses heavily on the Royal Conservatory's upper floors, specifically dealing with Breanna Ashworth and snagging all the valuable loot scattered around. You'll want to be careful here, as alerting Breanna prematurely can make things much tougher.
As you explore the north half of the area, you'll find various displays. Keep an eye out for lucky sphalerite, tyvian ore, and a silver sextant. The main threats up here are Breanna Ashworth herself and her two gravehounds in her office. Sometimes, if you alert witches downstairs, one might patrol this north balcony area, so stay sharp.
Heads up: Smashing that silver sextant in its case will interrupt Breanna's scripted conversation with Delilah. This will immediately put Breanna and her allies (including hounds and witches downstairs) on high alert, actively searching for you on the third floor. The chances of triggering alerts are pretty high, so you might want to leave the sextant alone for now and come back for it later.
If you manage to avoid spooking Breanna, you can actually overhear her conversation with Delilah. They'll discuss how Jindosh almost messed up the Oraculum by using the wrong lenses. These very lenses are stored in a room above Breanna's office and are key to the nonlethal method of taking her out. If you want the full details on that, you should check out section 5.4.5 and hold off on attacking Breanna directly here.
If you let the conversation finish, Breanna will linger in her office. She's carrying two bonecharms, one of which is particularly interesting: Bloodfly Alchemy. This charm turns your first projectile shot at her into a bloodfly swarm that attacks anyone nearby. While subsequent shots or sword strikes can take her down normally, be aware that she can teleport to dodge explosives. Her witchcraft also has a nasty habit of making summoned helpers like Doppelgangers and rat swarms attack their summoner instead of her. Oh, and those gravehounds? Their glowing effects can sometimes cause framerate drops, so be prepared for that.
Should you decide to kill Breanna, you can then inform the Delilah statue in her office. This triggers a rather amusing chat where she threatens to unpetrify someone back in Dunwall. The dialogue changes depending on whether you used the nonlethal method, or if you assassinated Breanna while she was talking to Delilah the first time. Reporting ongoing events to the empress also counts as a special action.
For loot, one of Delilah's paintings, "My Fires Burn within Breanna's Marrow," is hanging in her stairwell. The desk in her office also has a key to the B1 archive room, though it's likely not essential at this point.

[5.4.5] ROYAL CONSERVATORY - 4F
Moving up to the fourth floor of the Royal Conservatory, you'll find an outdoor roof lounge and more of Breanna's personal rooms, including a hideaway. The roof lounge has a rune, but it's otherwise not too exciting, except for the fact that it's covered in grapes. Apparently, even witches need their vitamins!
TROPHY: SOUVENIRS [5 of 10]
In a cabinet on the 4F near the roof access door, there's a broken whalebone sword you can pick up. Remember, these cabinets can be slid open quietly. Smashing them will make a lot of noise and alert Breanna (and others) if she's still alive downstairs.
The hallway just above the curator's office leads to two rooms. The first is a small bathroom that's been turned into a makeshift botanical area. Inside, you'll find two withered ryegrass stalks and a black bonecharm. There's also a note here confirming that Breanna's bloodfly ability isn't something she was born with.
The other room is the "effigy room." This place is packed with loot, totaling 135 coins, scattered across tables, countertops, and cabinets. You'll also find five raw whalebone pieces on the tables. The real prize here, though, is the desk containing the Oraculum's faulty lenses – essential for the nonlethal approach.
Finally, at the south end of 4F, tucked away in the ductwork above the elevator shaft, is a small room with a few items: angelfish scales, a coin pouch, and bathing salts. You can reach this by simply walking along the interior 4F ledging from Breanna's area, or by raising the elevator to 3F, hopping through the roof, and dropping down. There's another black bonecharm in here as well.
