From the previous area, you can access the 1F dining room corridor via rework ducts.

Pulling the reconfiguration lever closes off the balcony path and 3F ceiling access but opens the 2F Atrium and the main 1F dining hall entrance. This is the only option for players without powers.

Note on "Silence" Trophy: Avoid using reconfiguration levers unless it's the very first one in the foyer. Using others alerts Jindosh to your presence, though he may consider it a misfire if you hide quickly.

The Atrium contains loot and a conversation with Jindosh if you approach his retractable bridge door. These items are saved for a later return trip.

Proceed towards the dining hall. Entry is via the 2F atrium ducts or the main 1F door, depending on lever usage. If the main door is used, a clockwork soldier will patrol and attack on sight. You can slip past it to find the mansion map.

Two guards are typically in the hall, discussing the clockwork soldier. Be aware that deactivated soldiers can be alerted by noise and will join the fight.

The dining room sentry activates an arc pylon (replacing the piano) if it detects any disturbance. This alerts Jindosh if the pylon is powered.

To deactivate the arc pylon: Return to the dining room corridor, enter the maintenance hallway through a window. Follow it to the dining hall lounge and mural room. Use the pool table and wall AC unit to reach a sheltered 2F walkway. Head north to the waiting room, drop into the maintenance duct, and continue west towards the elevator. The pylon's whale oil socket is near the elevator.

Once the dining hall is clear, collect loot: the lone guard drops a pouch (20), and the small parlor near the food tables has an umberwood snuff box (150). The mural room contains a pouch (10) in a cabinet.

Access the maintenance corridor (via windows in the smoking lounge or dining room hallway) for more items. A blue drawer and workbench hold nine and two coins, respectively.

In the mural room, pulling the configuration lever swaps the table for the pool table. Descend with the table and enter the below-floor crawlspace for whale oil and copper wire (20 coins total). Use the red button to return to the 1F dining area.

Note on Mural Room Lever: Changing the mural room configuration does not alert Jindosh and can serve as a shortcut to the B1 level.

Some items are located above the smoking parlor and mural room. Enter the maintenance area and use Blink/Far Reach (or other means if without powers, like the recessed billiards table) to ascend through a 2F gap.
