Walkthrough
- 1Enter Manolia Cathedral. Talk to the nuns kneeling behind the pews, then the nun by the organ.
- 2Examine the sparkling light on the floor to trigger a fight with 4 Nagas. Defeat them using Techs.
- 3After the fight, a Naga attacks Lucca. Frog intervenes, defeats it, and joins your party.
- 4Play the organ to reveal a hidden room to the right. Enter it.
- 5In the hidden room, go left through the hallway, defeating Diablos. Open the 2 chests for a Potion and Athenian Water.
- 6Continue left, go up through the door, and ascend the stairs to the upper level.
- 7Enter the room ahead and open the 3 chests for a Maiden's Suit, Ether, and Potion. Equip Lucca with the Maiden's Suit.
- 8Leave the room, go right and up along the balcony, and open the chest for the Steel Saber. Equip Crono with it.
- 9Go left around the spikes blocking a room. Hit the switch on the wall to lower the spikes.
- 10Enter the room and talk to the 2 soldiers for information. Check the sparkling light in the pot for a Strength Capsule.
- 11Return to the lower level. Head right, defeating Diablos. Defeat the Vipers at the end and go up the steps into another room.
- 12Talk to the 3 creatures here. Ensure you speak to the one at the south end twice to make it leave.
- 13Follow it out and up the balcony into another room. Talk to the creatures disguised as the Queen, King, and a soldier. They reveal themselves as monsters and attack. Defeat them and open the 2 chests for an Ether and 100G.
- 14Leave the room and return to the lower level. Go left, defeat enemies, then go straight up through the middle of the room, defeating Vipers.
- 15Continue into the next room. Go left and step into the sparkling circle to save your game. Use a Shelter if desired.
- 16Head up the stairs and go left. Open the chest for a Shelter. Go down the stairs, which collapse, sliding you to the bottom.
- 17Go left and talk to the rolled-up creature (an Underling) to initiate a fight. Defeat it.
- 18Go up through the door and defeat the Mad Bats. Hit the switch on the north wall to make more Mad Bats appear, then defeat them.
- 19Continue north into the next room. Go right, defeat enemies, and open chests for a Potion and Panacea.
- 20Continue right, beat more enemies, then go down into another room.
- 21Hit the switch on the wall to lower spikes in the middle room. Beat the enemies in this room, then continue down and fight more.
- 22Go up the steps and into the middle room. Defeat the surrounding enemies. Open the chest in the right corner for the Iron Sword. Equip Frog with it.
- 23Play the organ in this room to reveal a hidden room.
- 24Leave this room, go left, and slide down the trap stairs. Go up through the next couple rooms and head right toward the middle of the long hall.
- 25Enter the new room in the north wall. Defeat the 2 Underlings, then continue up the hall, defeating 2 Nagas.
- 26Defeat the 2 Underlings at the end of the hall.
- 27Recover/save at the save point and continue up into the next room.
- 28You'll see the Chancellor from Guardia Castle confronting Queen Leene. The Chancellor transforms into Yakra, initiating a boss battle.
- 29After defeating Yakra, Queen Leene thanks you and asks you to come to the castle. Open the chests to free the real Chancellor and find a Mid-Ether.
- 30Follow the Chancellor to the exit. Talk to Leene to be taken to Guardia Castle.
Tips
- The Fire Whirl Dual Tech is effective against the initial Naga enemies.
- Remember to equip new weapons and armor as you find them.
- Save your game frequently at the sparkling circles.
- The organ in the cathedral can reveal hidden rooms.
