Walkthrough
- 1Entering the Old Prison: Choose one of three methods: sewer entrance, front door (requires key from Sister Farielle), or nighttime approach via courtesans in the Tavern (requires Negative Plane Protection).
- 2Prison Level 1 - Initial Area: Find magical ammo. A hidden door is present but unopenable. Exit through the door on the right.
- 3Prison Level 1 - Corridor: Three doors. Leftmost is unopenable. Right leads to a Fledgling Vampire. Middle door has a hidden door in the back.

- 17Saradush Palace - Upper Level - Gromnir's Arrival: Buff up and head upstairs. Melissan and Gromnir Il-Khan are arguing. After Melissan leaves, Gromnir attacks with named Mage Karun the Black, an Il-Khan Battle Mage, Berena Elkan (Berserker), and Eler Had (Assassin). An Il-Khan Soldier also appears behind you.
- 18Saradush Palace - Upper Level - Strategy: Use area-of-effect spells (Horrid Wilting, Dragon's Breath) to kill the Mages. Use summons to distract Gromnir. Focus attacks on Elkan and Had while a fighter distracts the Il-Khan Soldier. Concentrate on Gromnir.
- 19Saradush Palace - Upper Level - Rewards: Earn ~100000 combat XP and 30000XP per party member upon Gromnir's defeat. Melissan reappears.
- 20Post-Gromnir: You can leave the city. Melissan offers information on Yaga-Shura (a powerful, fast-healing fire giant) if you agree to hunt him. She suggests searching the Forest of Mir for his weakness.
Tips
- Negative Plane Protection is required if entering the prison via the tavern courtesans.
- Immunity to +1 weapons and below can help against many guards in the southern corridor of Prison Level 2.
