Alright, let's talk about the S-E Guns in Risk of Rain Returns. These can be a bit tricky because you often have to find them, and then you've got the added cost and weight of boosting their ammo. Plus, you gotta think about how you'll use 'em – maybe in pairs, or with a special system on a towed tank. Some are better for hitting groups, others for taking out everyone at once.

The Excalibur is a solid all-around choice and you can actually buy it in Eden. The Red Peony is another good one, found north of the Organic Waste Landfill, which is north of Santa Poco. Both are pretty light and work well with the C-Unit ambush setup.

Just a heads-up, the S Tornado can only get its ammo boosted once, up to 15 shells. The Excalibur, though, can go up to 50, and the Red Peony can be boosted to 29 shells. That's a big difference in sustained firepower!

The Rain Cylon is a bit of a late-game find, only available in the final area of the Global Defense Centre. So, while it's powerful, it's not something you'll be using for most of your playthrough.
