Location: West from the exit of Jizo's Passageway.

Walkthrough

    From Jizo's Passage, travel north and then west to find a hole in the ground leading to the East-West Subway Ruins.

    Descend into the ruins. You will arrive from a ramp to the left.

    Go down the screen and turn left. You will find a ladder down to a platform with a small blue switch on the wall. This switch controls the lights and is not significant.

    Return to your tanks and drive right a short way.

    Go down through the hole in the wall and down the ramp to the left.

    Travel left along the tracks for a couple of screens until you reach a doorway. Tanks cannot enter as this is a train.

    This section contains Meteor Snails in groups of eight, useful if you have a Weekly Target for them.

    Continue left until you can go no further. Leave the train by the southern open door. Do not go down the ramp into a cave, as it leads to a dead end.

    To find the Auto-Escape System, go UP the screen from the train, not down the ramp, then go left. Walk past the hole in the tracks and continue left for one screen until you reach a green tented hole in the upper wall. Download the Auto-Escape System here.

    From the Auto-Escape System location, carry on left for a couple of screens until you reach a platform area.

    Go up the left ramp (Ramp A), and keep going left to find another ramp. You will emerge at the hole south of Sol.

    Alternatively, if you continue left at the platform and follow the tracks for a further three screens, you can emerge from a hole close to Hell's Gate and north of Santa Poco.

  • This location provides a route to Sol and from there, all the way west to Hell's Gate.
  • The East-West Subway Ruins can be a long walk from east to west.
  • The train carriage area is where you will find Meteor Snails in groups of eight.
