Discover the new options available at Leorad in Risk of Rain Returns! Learn how to get free tank repairs, upgrade your repair skills, and manage your ammo and armor.
Alright, so you've made your way back to Leorad, and guess what? Your dad's got some new tricks up his sleeve for you. It’s time to see what he’s cooking up in the garage!
When you chat with your dad, you'll see a few new choices pop up:
- Request Repairs: This is a sweet deal! Your dad will fix up any busted tank parts for free. The catch? You gotta refuse to pay for it. So, if your tank's seen better days, just tell him you're not paying, and he'll sort you out.
- Ask for Instruction: This is how you level up your repair game. Every time you or another party member levels up, your dad will give you a lesson. This bumps up your repair skill by 1. With a higher repair skill, you can use the Repair Kit to fix tank parts that are only partly damaged. You'll know a part is partly damaged when it shows up as yellow on the screen when you try to use the Repair Kit. Heads up, though: Hunter can't use this skill, so it might not be worth training him in repairs if he's in your party.
- Give Money: Go ahead, try this one out. See what your dad says when you offer him some cash.
- Return Home: This is a pretty big decision. If you agree to this, you'll stop being a Hunter and head home. Think carefully before you pick this one!
- Just saying hi: Feeling chatty? Try this option to see what your dad's reaction is.
Now, let's talk about the Refill Station. Every garage has this guy in red who can top off your armor tiles, plates, and ammo. In Leorad, he's hanging out at the back of the garage, right by the Trunk Room.
Here's the lowdown on costs:
- Armor tiles will run you 1 gold for every 10.
- Ammo for your 37mm Gun and all Main Guns costs 5 gold per piece.
- As for SE weapons, ammo can get pretty pricey, potentially costing 150 gold or more for each piece. We're not checking them all – life's too short!
The refill station has a couple of ways to work:
- The options on the left let you refill everything for all your tanks at once, or just top off all your armor plates or ammo separately.
- The options on the right let you add armor plates to just one tank and decide exactly how many you want. You can also buy ammo for each gun on each tank individually and set the exact amount you want restocked.
