Hey there, new hunter! So, you've landed on the Deserted Island and found yourself in Moga Village. Think of it as your cozy home base for your adventures in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. It's the main hub for both Monster Hunter 3 and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, so you'll be spending a lot of time here getting ready for your hunts. ### Characters You'll Meet This village is full of helpful people (and some not-so-helpful monsters, but that's for later!). Here are some of the key characters you'll interact with: * Village Chief: The main guy in charge, he'll give you guidance. * Chief's Son: He's got his own quests for you. * Argosy Captain: This fella runs the trade ship, essential for getting certain goods. * Fishmongress: If you need some aquatic goods, she's your go-to. * Guild Sweetheart: She'll have some important tasks for you. * Wyverian Artisan: This skilled craftsman is where you'll get new weapons and armor made. * Cha-Cha: Your little Felyne companion! He's super useful. * Itinerant Cook: He runs the Canteen, where you can grab a meal for buffs before a hunt. * Head Farmer: He manages the Moga Farm, a great place to gather resources. There are also other folks like the Fleet Captain, the Outfitter (who sells gear), the Gal with the Goods (your main shopkeeper), and Chamberlyne, a Felyne who helps manage your house. ### Moga Item Shop This is where you'll be stocking up on essentials.
