Habitat: Tundra (Areas 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7). Spawns in Areas 1 and 2, rests in Area 6.

Properties:

• Weak Spots: Rear (Cut/Impact), Head, Upper Body
• Susceptible to: Sleep, Fatigue
• Strong Against: Water, Ice, Dragon
• Weak Against: Fire, Thunder

Part Durability:

• Head, Upper Body, Arms, Belly, Legs: Low Durability, causes Lurch
• Rear: Medium Durability, causes Large Lurch/Knockdown

Breakable Parts:

• Ears: Breaking decreases Head Durability, creates Tear, and yields Extra Rewards.

Rage Effects: Attack increases to 120%, Defence and Speed remain unchanged.

Key Attacks:

• Slide Attack: A fast, forward slide, often performed twice.
• 360 Slide: A circular slide; evade to the Lagombi’s right.
• Sit: If attacked from behind, the Lagombi may sit on you.
• 180 Degree Claw: A spinning claw attack.
• Ice Throw: Hurls a chunk of snow.

Recommended Strategy:

The Lagombi is prone to fast attacks, so avoid standing directly in front of it. Its belly is armored, making the rear the best target. Be cautious of the Lagombi sitting on you. A recommended strategy is to attack a few times, then dodge to the right, especially to counter its 360 Slide. When it slides, do not chase immediately as it may return. Stay put to react to its return or move back to it if it doesn't. Focus on its sides and flank to bring it down quickly.
