Alright, so you've reached Jhen Mohran in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. This guy is HUGE, an Elder Dragon that you'll face on a special sandship. Don't let its size intimidate you; we'll get through this together!

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Weak Spots: Mouth, Cracked Fins
• Susceptible to: Explosives
• Strong Against: Fire
• Weak Against: Dragon, Ice, Water, Thunder

Phases:

1. Initial Engagement: Start by using the Ballista cannons and the artillery cannon on the sandship. Aim for Jhen's tusks (Fangs) or its Cracked Fins. Keep moving around the ship to dodge its attacks and maintain your damage output.
2. Boarding Jhen: When Jhen Mohran swims close to the sandship, you'll get an opportunity to leap onto its back. This is where you can really get in some damage with your regular weapons. Don't worry about falling off into the sea; the sandship will rescue you. Keep attacking its weak spots on its back.

Strategy:

• Use the Ship's Weapons: The Ballista cannons and the artillery cannon are your best friends here. Constantly fire at Jhen's tusks (Fangs) or its Cracked Fins. You can deal significant damage this way from a safe distance.
• Boarding is Key: As soon as Jhen gets close enough to the ship, take the chance to jump onto its back. You can deal direct weapon damage to its weak spots there. Falling into the water isn't a failure; you'll be brought back to the ship.
• React to Attacks: Jhen has several dangerous moves. You'll need to move to the opposite side of the ship when it performs a Side Barge. If it starts a Rock Toss, just keep moving to avoid the falling rocks. For the Body Slam, retreat to the ammunition store. If Jhen tries to leap onto the front of the ship (Board), use the dragonator to interrupt it.
• Part Break Strategy: While the main goal is to defeat Jhen, breaking parts can help. The Fangs and Arms can be broken by decreasing their durability. The Cracked Fins are tougher and need to be hit twice to break. Breaking parts doesn't seem to have a direct effect listed, but it's always good practice!
• Rage Mode: When Jhen gets angry, its Attack power increases by 120%, but its Defence and Speed remain the same. Stay sharp and keep up the pressure!
