Habitat: Volcano: Areas 4, 5 (Spawn), 6 (Rest), 7.

• Weak Spots: Belly, Head (Broken Jaw)
• Susceptible to: Fatigue, Paralysis, Dizzy
• Strong Against: Fire, Thunder
• Weak Against: Water, Dragon, Ice

Part Durability:

• Head: High Durability (Large Lurch on decrease)
• Neck, Arms: Medium Durability (Lurch on decrease)
• Body: Very High Durability (Large Lurch on decrease)
• Legs (x2): High Durability (Knockdown on decrease)
• Tail: High Durability (Lurch on decrease)

Breakable Parts:

• Jaw: Decrease Durability Twice for Extra Rewards.
• Tail (Break): Decrease Durability for Extra Rewards.
• Tail (Cut): Damage with Cut Weapons for an Extra Carve.

Rage Effects: Attack increases to 130%, Speed increases to 110%, Defence remains unchanged.

Key Attacks:

• Chin Smash: The Steel Uragaan smashes its chin into the ground up to four times, alternating sides.
• Earthquake Chin: The Steel Uragaan slams its head down forcefully, causing damage and a tremor that leaves hunters off balance. It may move while charging.
• Roll: The Steel Uragaan curls up and rolls around the arena. Move immediately to avoid.
• Cloud: If vibrating, a cloud will emerge, causing Stench status or fire damage depending on its state. Move away as soon as it starts brewing.
• Homing Roll: The Steel Uragaan rolls towards you, slams its chin, and expels stench gas upon reaching you. Keep moving and do not attack until it stops completely.

Recommended Strategy:

Avoid the Steel Uragaan's chin at all costs, as it is a devastating weapon. Stay mobile and keep your distance, reacting to its movements. Be aware of the small explosive rocks it can throw, which have a significant blast radius.

When the Steel Uragaan begins to roll, put away your weapon and run. This is especially critical for the Homing Roll, which will chase you. Continue moving until the attack is completely finished.
