Walkthrough
- 1Start by going to the Bazaar, a short turn from the Peddler's.
- 2In the Bazaar, defeat the Fat Bandit.
- 3On the right side of the Bazaar, find a chest on a high platform containing a [MYTHRIL GEM] (8/24).
- 4Drop down and destroy the stands at the southern end to reveal three more chests: a [MYTHRIL SHARD] (12/24), an [AP BOOST] (11/24), and a [HI-POTION] (10/24).
- 5In the center of the Bazaar, find a chest with a [POWER SHARD] (9/24).
- 6Destroy the stand atop the steps to get [EDGE #9].
- 7At the southern end of the Bazaar, use High Jump Lv2 to grab [TWILIGHT #41].
- 8Outside the Bazaar, find a chest with a [MYTHRIL STONE] (14/24) and another with a [SKILL RING] (13/24). Use the save point.
- 9At the Cave of Wonders: Entrance, find two chests behind the entrance containing a [MYTHRIL SHARD] (16/24) and [POWER STONE] (15/24). Also find [DAWN #29].
- 10Inside the Cave of Wonders, you will encounter Fortunetellers and Fiery Globes.
- 11Grab a [HI-POTION] (20/24) from the first chest inside.
- 12Go left to the next chest to find a [MYTHRIL SHARD] (19/24).
- 13Cross back to the right to find a [MYTHRIL STONE] (17/24).
- 14Go left again for an [AP BOOST] (18/24).
- 15Leap from the end to claim [EDGE #10].
- 16Head to the next room and examine the jewel and then the statue to trigger a scene.
- 17Hit Triangle to tell Abu to move forward and jump as waves come down.
- 18At the end of this sequence, tell Abu to place the jewel.
- 19Use the Save Point that appears.
- 20Head to the Chasm of Challenges and use the stone in the middle to start your descent.
- 21Defeat Icy Cubes and Fiery Globes.
- 22On the second platform, grab [DAWN #10] before defeating the enemies.
- 23Defeat a Fat Bandit, then a Fat Bandit with Fiery Globes.
- 24On the last platform, grab [DAWN #11].
- 25You will fall to the ground, passing [DAWN #37] in mid-air.
- 26At the end, defeat some Fortunetellers.
- 27Open the chests for an [AP BOOST] (22/24) and the [CAVE OF WONDERS MAP] (21/24).
Tips
- Fat Bandits use punches for minor damage, but their main attacks are Flame Shot (fireballs that can be blocked) and Flamethrower (a continuous flame to be avoided). Treat them like Large Bodies and use "Full Swing" for massive damage. They have 135 HP and can drop Blazing Gems (12%), Ethers (10%), and Serenity Shards (4%).
- Fortunetellers are immune to Blizzard magic and attack with their crystal ball. They can strike with Blizzard from afar and use Frozen Verdict after a countdown, which can be countered with the Reaction Command "Clear Shot". Guarding against their Ice Crystals deals major damage back. They are often paired with Fiery Globes, making magic difficult. They have 54 HP and can drop Frost Gems (10%) and Energy Gems (10%).
- Fiery Globes are immune to Fire magic. Their only attack is a charge that flings small flames. They have very little HP (27 HP) and can be defeated with a quick combo or Thunder magic. They appear in groups and are often accompanied by Fortunetellers. They can drop Blazing Gems (4%).
- If you miss anything during the event in the Chasm of Challenges, you can warp back to the top and try again.
