In Fantasy Life, you can personalize your living space by decorating your home with furniture. Furniture can be purchased from shops, acquired through Requests, or crafted by Carpenters and Tailors. To arrange furniture, go to "My Room" and select "Rearrange." You can choose to arrange Decor, Wall/Floor items, or remove existing furnishings.

When placing furniture, press the A button to place, L or R to rotate, and X to put it away. Furniture can only be placed in available spaces and cannot obstruct doorways (except carpets). To move or store furniture, press the X button without an item selected, then use the cursor to grab and reposition items.

Some furniture offers additional benefits. Wardrobes allow access to your storage from anywhere in your room, which is useful for crafting as you can use materials from both your storage and item bag. Beds allow you to Sleep or Rest to recover HP, change the time of day (sleeping advances to morning, resting to night), and save your game.

As you progress, you can upgrade your accommodation by moving home. After advancing the story, you can move from your initial attic to a larger house. To do this, you must first remove all furnishings and then speak to Pam. Moving requires a significant amount of Dosh. You can choose from three homes located in the Castele Artisans’ District, South Castele, and the Castele Shopping District. The choice of home is often based on convenience, such as living in the Artisans’ District for easy access to shops and workshops.

Beyond your main home, you can also purchase holiday homes in various lands. These function similarly to your main home, allowing furniture placement. The key difference is that you don't need to move your primary residence, and you can own multiple holiday homes simultaneously. Holiday homes provide extra space for furniture display and can be warped to from your Map, offering a convenient way to travel between towns.
